Born on the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the Gevrey-Chambertin 2021 from Domaine Arlaud is a precise Pinot Noir. Sourced from the Les Seuvrées and La Justice plots, it reveals notes of dark fruits and spices. Fresh and structured, it will keep for 5 to 8 years and pairs beautifully with meats and cheeses.
Domaine Arlaud
A family estate rooted in the Côte de Nuits, where Burgundian heritage is passed down with exacting standards and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Limestone and clay-limestone soils of Gevrey-Chambertin, where Pinot Noir flourishes in a balance between power and finesse.
- Vinification: Organic and biodynamic approach, aged in barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Arlaud Gevrey-Chambertin 2021
To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice, lifted by a hint of undergrowth and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, elegant and well-integrated tannins, taut minerality and a long finish, carried by a beautiful tension.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full expression.

A vintage defined by balanced ripeness, where freshness and concentration harmoniously intertwine.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
