The Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées Vieilles Vignes 2012 from Domaine Bruno Clavelier, sourced from the limestone soils of the Aux Brûlées climat, expresses the purity of an exceptional terroir. This Pinot Noir, aged 18 months in oak barrels, reveals aromas of rose, raspberry and smoky flint. On the palate, its silky texture and notes of red fruits and spices are balanced by a saline minerality. To be enjoyed through 2026, it pairs beautifully with game or aged cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, this family estate embodies the demands of an exceptional terroir, where each cuvée reflects the heritage of a living and respected Burgundy.
- Terroir: Limestone and chailles soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of great Pinot Noir, where the Vosne-Romanée appellation reveals a unique minerality.
- Vinification: Biodynamic approach, indigenous yeasts and aging in French oak barrels for wines of silky precision and remarkable tension.
Tasting notes for Domaine Bruno Clavelier Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées Vieilles Vignes 2012

On the nose – A bouquet blending faded rose and peony, before notes of ripe raspberry, smoky flint and a saline touch emerge, like an echo of the terroir's chailles.
On the palate – A silky, almost creamy attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, while aromas of liquorice and peppermint extend a finish of saline elegance and remarkable length.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
