The Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles 2022, signed by Domaine Denis Bachelet, draws its richness from the limestone terroirs of Gevrey. Pinot Noir old vines with aromas of cherry and spices, aged in barrels. Velvety palate, mineral freshness. Ideal for 10 years of cellaring, to enjoy with duck breast or aged cheeses.
Domaine Denis Bachelet
A family estate rooted in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, where the heritage of old vines is passed down with rigor and passion.- Terroir : The clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, marked by chalky marls, lend the wines a distinctive minerality and a structured elegance.- Vinification : A precise approach, balancing tradition and modernity, favoring the purity of the fruit and the finesse of the tannins for cuvées of great tension.
Tasting notes for Domaine Denis Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles 2022
- In the glass : A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous density, heralding a generous yet refined character.- On the nose : First aromas of fresh morello cherry and wild blackberry, followed by notes of violet and soft spices, before a mineral touch reminiscent of flint.- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and silky tannins, while a chalky minerality stretches into a saline and persistent finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2022
A vintage marked by optimal ripeness of the grapes, offering wines of rare concentration without sacrificing their freshness.- Aging potential : Store for 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C), away from light, to reveal its full depth.
