Joseph Roty Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée de la Justice 2023, from the clay-limestone terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. This Pinot Noir reveals aromas of dark fruits and spices, with a lively and mineral palate. Perfect from 2027 onwards with a boeuf bourguignon or game.
Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate perpetuates a winemaking heritage of more than a century, combining tradition and precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, shaping wines of a chalky minerality and a taut elegance.
- Vinification: Ageing in oak barrels, respect for natural cycles for wines with a silky structure and aromatic purity.
On the eye: A garnet red robe with deep highlights, of a dense and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice, lifted by a touch of undergrowth and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: A silky attack, a lively acidity and a persistent minerality, carried by elegant tannins and a long, precise finish.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal all its complexity.
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, offering wines that are both fruity and structured.
- Ageing potential: To be kept until 2032 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
