Mugneret Gibourg Nuits Saint Georges 1er cru Aux Vigne Rondes 2014
From the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Vignes Rondes 2014 from Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg is a barrel-aged Pinot Noir. Notes of cherry, spices and a woody touch precede a silky, mineral palate. Ideal through 2030 with game or cheeses.

Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, this family estate embodies Burgundian standards of excellence – a heritage of precision and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Burgundy Climats, where Pinot Noir draws its elegance and minerality.
- Vinification: Destemmed harvest, measured ageing in oak barrels to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the vintage.

To the eye – Deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of silky density and crystalline clarity.
On the nose – Freshness of morello cherry and crunchy blackcurrant, evolving towards notes of violet and liquorice, underlined by a chalky touch and a discreet salinity.
On the palate – Velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a persistent minerality, with a long and taut finish where soft spices and black fruits intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to bring out its full complexity.
