The Rayas 2014, an exceptional Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is born from a sandy terroir in the Rhône Valley. This pure Grenache offers aromas of cherry, flowers and garrigue, a silky and mineral palate. To be enjoyed after decanting, it reaches its peak around 2035 and elevates refined dishes.
Château Rayas
A family estate rooted in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Rayas embodies a viticultural tradition fiercely preserved across generations.
- Terroir: Soils of rounded pebbles and red clay, typical of the southern Rhône, conferring a distinctive minerality and rare elegance to the wines.
- Winemaking: Artisanal methods, aging in barrels for a pure expression of Grenache, without artifice or over-extraction.

To the eye: Deep garnet robe with ruby hues, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh black cherry, dried rose, candied orange and wild thyme, lifted by a saline note and a hint of white pepper.
On the palate: A delicate and taut attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, followed by a long and persistent finish where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C – Burgundy-style red wine glass to fully reveal its complexity.
