Tasting notes for the wine Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône 2018
To the eye: A deep red robe with garnet highlights, of silky texture and promising density.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry blossom first, followed by a touch of licorice and gentle spices, before giving way to a subtle chalky, almost saline note, reminiscent of the terroir's pebbles.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, where the tension of the fruit marries an elegant minerality, carried by fine tannins and a long finish, where a hint of garrigue and white pepper lingers.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to fully release its aromas.

A vintage marked by generous ripeness and a balanced structure, where the summer heat enhanced the concentration of the fruit without compromising freshness.
