The Château Haut-Brion 1995, a jewel of Pessac-Léognan, is derived from Bordeaux gravels. This red wine, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, offers mineral notes and a silky palate. Perfect with red meats, it can be enjoyed now or cellared until 2035.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion Haut-Brion 1995
To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of velvety density, where light dances with a chalky precision.
On the nose – First notes of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by a touch of cedar and blonde tobacco, before a subtle salinity underscores the mineral depth of the terroir.
On the palate – A silky texture envelops a lively, taut acidity, carried by remarkably fine tannins; the long, saline finish reveals nuances of liquorice and graphite, with an elegant persistence.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 1995
A vintage in which the ripeness of the grapes, favoured by a hot, dry summer, gave birth to a wine of rare harmony, combining power and refinement.
- Aging Potential : To be kept until 2035 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity), although already at its peak.
