The Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019 from Domaine Arlaud, grown on the limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, is a Pinot Noir of great precision. Aged in barrels, it combines red fruits, spices and a chalky minerality. To be enjoyed through 2035 with rich dishes or cheeses.

Nestled in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence since 1942 – a heritage where respect for the terroir takes precedence above all.
- Terroir: Limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of the Grands Crus, where Pinot Noir draws its minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Manual harvest, aged in oak barrels (12–18 months) for a pure expression and a silky structure.
Tasting notes for Domaine Arlaud Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019
To the eye – A deep ruby-red robe of velvety density, where light reflects with a chalky intensity.
On the nose – First aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry, followed by fresh violet petals, then a hint of liquorice and a subtle mineral saltiness.
On the palate – A silky yet taut texture, where lively acidity meets precise tannins, while a long and sapid finish reveals notes of prune and gentle spices.
Serve between 15° and 17°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage of concentration and balance, where the summer heat ripened the grapes without diminishing their freshness.
- Ageing potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
