This Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru La Perrière Vieilles Vignes 2020 from Domaine Fourrier, born on clay and limestone, offers a pure and precise Pinot Noir. Red fruits, aged in barrels (18 months), silky and mineral palate. Perfect with a leg of lamb or to be cellared for 10 years.

Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has perpetuated an exceptional viticultural heritage since the 1930s, combining respect for the terroir with artisanal expertise.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Burgundy, cradle of the great crus of Gevrey-Chambertin, where Pinot Noir expresses its full minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Traditional methods and minimal intervention to preserve the purity of the fruit and the elegance of the tannins, with controlled aging in barrels.

To the eye: A garnet red robe with deep reflections, of a silky texture and crystalline brilliance that already announces its precision.
On the nose: A fresh and vibrant bouquet where tart red fruits (redcurrant, griotte cherry) mingle with floral notes of peony, a spiced hint of white pepper, and a subtle chalky minerality recalling the limestone soils of the climat.
On the palate: A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a mineral tension guiding a long and saline finish, where fine tannins and an elegant aromatic persistence unfold.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by balance, where the coolness of the nights preserved the natural acidity of the Pinot Noir, offering a wine that is both approachable in its youth and endowed with a fine aging potential.
