This Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2016 from Domaine Fourrier is born from old vines on limestone-clay soils. Aged in neutral barrels, this Pinot Noir offers aromas of black cherry, spices and a chalky minerality. Silky and taut, it pairs with red meats and slow-cooked dishes through 2036.
Nestled at the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has embodied Burgundian elegance for generations.
- Terroir: Limestone-clay soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of the great Pinot Noirs, where minerality expresses itself with precision.
- Winemaking: Natural and respectful method, aging in neutral barrels to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.
