Tasting Notes for Château Haut-Brion 1982
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet hues, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, jammy plum, blonde tobacco and black truffle, lifted by a saline touch and a subtle smoky note, the signature of the Graves terroir.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by tannins of chalky finesse, a lively acidity and a persistent minerality, leading to a long and harmonious finish.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
