Haut Brion 1990
The Château Haut-Brion 1990, sourced from the gravels of Pessac-Léognan, combines elegance and power. Its notes of blackcurrant, cedar and spices, born of ageing in new barrels, precede a full and mineral palate. Silky tannins and freshness make it an ideal wine with game or duck breast, to be kept until 2040.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion 1990
To the eye: a deep garnet red robe with brick-red reflections, dense and silky, like a mineral velvet.
On the nose: a bouquet where wild blackberry and candied plum first unfold, followed by notes of cedar, blond tobacco and a saline graphite touch, before concluding with a hint of black truffle.
On the palate: a full and velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and spiced finish, where cinnamon and liquorice entwine.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to unlock its full complexity.
Vintage 1990
A sun-drenched and generous vintage, where the ripeness of the grapes gave birth to a wine of rare opulence, while retaining a remarkable tension.
- Ageing potential: still at its peak, this wine can be kept until 2040 under optimal conditions (cool cellar, away from light and vibrations).
