To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny reflections, of a silky density and a brilliance preserved by time.
On the nose – A generous bouquet where candied blackcurrant, aged leather, blond tobacco and a touch of damp undergrowth mingle, lifted by a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a persistent minerality, while the melted tannins give way to a long and nuanced finish, where notes of liquorice and soft spices unfold.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
