The Côte-Rôtie 2007 from Domaine Jamet, made from Syrah on schistous soils, is aged 22 months in barrels. Nose of cherry, spices and olive, lively and mineral palate. Perfect after 2025 with rich dishes such as leg of lamb or game stew.

Nestled in Ampuis, this family estate has embodied the traditional soul of Côte-Rôtie since 1950, combining respect for the terroir with a refined winemaking approach.
- Terroir: terraced vineyards on schistous and granitic soils, shaping wines of vibrant minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: whole clusters, barrel aging – an approach that preserves the purity of the fruit and the tension of the Syrah.
Tasting notes for Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie 2007
To the eye: deep garnet robe with brick-red highlights, of a silky texture and chalky density.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry and ripe prune intertwine with notes of fresh bay leaf, black olive and blonde tobacco, lifted by a peppery touch and a saline minerality.
On the palate: lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a silky tannic structure, before a long and saline finish where nuances of leather and gentle spices unfold.
Serving temperature: 16°C – to be enjoyed in a Burgundy-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
