The Griottes Chambertin 2001 from Domaine Ponsot is a Grand Cru Pinot Noir with aromas of black cherry, spices, and undergrowth. Aged in barrels, it offers a velvety texture and chalky minerality. Perfect with red meats or cheeses, it will continue to improve through 2030.
A Burgundian institution since 1872, Domaine Ponsot embodies the alliance of a family heritage and a deep connection to the terroirs of Morey-Saint-Denis.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, where Grands Crus such as Griotte-Chambertin reveal a chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: Traditional methods, long maceration, and patient aging for wines of silky precision and vibrant tension.
