The Domaine Ponsot Clos de la Roche Vieilles Vignes 2019, a Grand Cru from Burgundy, comes from Pinot Noir (65-year-old vines) on clay-limestone soils. Aromas of black fruits, spices and minerality, silky tannins and a fresh finish. To enjoy from 2029 with duck breast or ceps.

Nestled in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, this family estate has since 1872 embodied exacting standards and fidelity to the Burgundian terroir.
- Terroir: Limestone and marly soils of the Clos de la Roche appellation, cradle of deep and mineral wines.
- Vinification: Traditional method – full destemming, gentle extraction and aging without new oak to preserve the purity of Pinot Noir.

To the eye: Intense purple robe with garnet highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry, followed by a touch of liquorice, damp undergrowth and a saline hint recalling Burgundian limestone.
On the palate: Velvety texture and precise tannins, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, for a long and taut finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its nuances.

A generous vintage, marked by a hot and dry summer, bringing concentration and balance to the wines of Burgundy.
- Aging potential: 15 to 25 years (until 2044) under optimal conditions – cool cellar, away from light and vibrations.
