Located in Celles-sur-Ource in the Champagne of the Aube, Domaine Pierre Gerbais benefits from a unique terroir, characterized by its Kimmeridgian limestone soils. This soil is closer to that of Chablis or Sancerre, offering an environment conducive to the expression of grape varieties. Although chardonnay is often associated with this type of soil, it is pinot noir that dominates here, revealing all of its complexity and depth.

Under the dynamic leadership of Aurélien Gerbais, the estate has seen its range grow and diversify, making Pierre Gerbais an eminently singular name in the region and beyond. Each cuvée is a tribute to a particular grape variety, highlighting the unique characteristics of each one.

L'Audace: A pinot noir of great freshness and lightness.

Osmose: An aromatic chardonnay with a pronounced salinity.

L'Originale: A rare and exceptional expression of pinot blanc, offering a luscious palate and a textured finish with notes of white pepper and almonds.

Aurélien's innovative vision, having joined the estate in 2011, builds on the family heritage while bringing a modern and personal touch to the wines. Alongside his father Pascal Gerbais, Aurélien initiated rigorous winemaking practices, with a particular emphasis on perpetual reserves started in 2011. This method creates Champagne that are both full-bodied and highly precise, with a delicate and refined bubble.
