Tasting notes for Château Margaux Pavillon Rouge 1995
To the eye: a garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and silky, revealing a harmonious maturity.
On the nose: aromas of wild blackberry, candied blackcurrant, cedar and light tobacco, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, extending into a long and precise finish where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
