Tasting notes for Château Margaux 1995
To the eye: A deep garnet red robe, with a silky density, where brick-red glints reveal accomplished maturity.
On the nose: First, aromas of black plum and ripe blackcurrant, followed by deeper nuances of blonde tobacco, cedar and a mineral hint of graphite, all enveloped in a subtle evocation of aged leather.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a tannic structure still present yet well-integrated, where notes of blackberry, liquorice and a saline finish unfold with remarkable length.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C – Bordeaux glass to enhance its complexity.
