Château Margaux
Nestled in the heart of the Médoc, this family estate embodies five centuries of exigence and passion, classified Premier Grand Cru in 1855. A heritage where tradition and innovation intertwine to reveal the soul of a unique terroir.
- Terroir: Deep gravels of the Médoc, a soil of gravel and clay that confers upon the wines a chalky minerality and rare elegance, typical of the Margaux appellation.
- Vinification: A meticulous approach, combining respect for noble grape varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon foremost – and barrel aging for a structure that is both precise and silky.

Tasting notes for Château Margaux 2005
To the eye: A deep red robe with garnet highlights, of silky density and a brilliance that already announces the complexity of the wine.
On the nose: First aromas of fresh blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a hint of graphite, all lifted by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and an elegant tension, where flavors of dark fruits, soft spices and liquorice unfold, leading to a long and persistent finish marked by a chalky minerality.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
Vintage 2005
A sunny vintage, marked by a perfect balance between ripeness and freshness, where the concentration of the grapes allies with a tannic structure of rare precision.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed until 2040, provided it is cellared at a stable temperature (12–14°C) and away from light.
