Cheval Blanc 2017
The Cheval Blanc 2017 (Château Cheval Blanc), born from the gravelly terroirs of Saint-Émilion, blends Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Its nose reveals dark fruits and spices, its palate, silky tannins and mineral freshness. Aged in oak barrels, it keeps for 10–15 years and pairs with roasted meats or aged cheeses.

Tasting notes for Château Cheval Blanc 2017
To the eye – A deep red robe with garnet reflections, of a dense and luminous texture, like liquid velvet.
On the nose – A bouquet where ripe red fruits (redcurrant, blackberry), delicate flowers (rose, violet) and deeper notes of liquorice and Sichuan pepper intertwine, before a mineral touch of graphite and charcoal.
On the palate – A generous yet supremely refined attack, carried by silky tannins and vibrant acidity, while a saline minerality and floral freshness extend a finish of spellbinding length.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2017
A vintage marked by fresh elegance and a harmonious structure, where tension and the purity of the fruits balance with beautiful ripeness.
- Ageing potential: 20 to 30 years, to be kept under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
