The Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru La Forest 1996 embodies the Kimmeridgian terroir of Chablis. This pure Chardonnay, aged with tradition, offers a vibrant minerality and notes of citrus and flint. Perfect with seafood and cheeses, to be savored through 2036.

Heir to a family tradition rooted in the hillsides of Chablis, this estate embodies the standards of an exceptional terroir and fidelity to a classic style.
- Terroir: Kimmeridgian, clay-limestone and marly soils of the Chablis Premier Crus, where minerality expresses itself with rare precision.
- Vinification: Traditional methods, aging in barrels for a silky tension and preserved purity, without artifice.
Tasting notes for the Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru La Forest 1996
To the eye: A golden robe with pale reflections, of a crystalline clarity, revealing an almost chalky texture in the light.
On the nose: Aromas of candied lemon, hawthorn blossom and ripe quince, followed by a saline touch and a hint of flint, like an echo of the Kimmeridgian soils.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a saline minerality, while notes of toasted hazelnut and acacia honey stretch into a long and elegant finish.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a white Burgundy wine glass to release its full complexity.
