Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand cru Les Clos 2009
The Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2009 from Domaine Vincent Dauvissat is born on the chalky Kimmeridgian soils of Chablis. This Chardonnay captivates with its nose of green apple, citrus and flint, and its lively, mineral and saline palate. Perfect with oysters or noble fish, it offers a promising aging potential.

A family estate rooted in the mythical hillsides of Chablis, where time sculpts wines of unrivalled mineral purity.
- Terroir: Kimmeridgian soils, clay-limestone and fossilized marls from the Chablis Grands Crus — Les Clos and Les Preuses foremost — lending the wines their chalky tension and distinctive salinity.
- Vinification: Traditional methods, aged in used oak barrels to preserve the freshness of the Chardonnay, without artifice, in full respect of the fruit and the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2009
To the eye: Pale golden robe of crystalline clarity, enlivened by a silky sheen and a slight viscosity that hints at its concentration.
On the nose: Aromas of crisp green apple, tangy yellow grapefruit, then notes of dried linden and sun-warmed flint, before a saline touch evoking sea spray.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a sharp acidity that unfolds into a smooth, mineral texture, leaving a long, taut and almost saline finish.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a wide, flared Burgundy glass to fully release its aromatic complexity.

A generous vintage, where the ripeness of the grapes combines with a preserved freshness, offering a rare balance between richness and tension.
- Aging potential: Best kept until 2035 or beyond, in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light, to allow its minerality to fully blossom.
