Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand cru Les Clos 2013
Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2013 by Vincent Dauvissat draws its minerality from the Kimmeridgian soils of Chablis. This Chardonnay, aged in barrels, offers notes of citrus and flint, a taut and saline palate. A wine for cellaring (10-15 years), it pairs with shellfish or creamed poultry.

A family estate rooted in the limestone hillsides of Chablis, where each cuvée bears the hallmark of an exceptional terroir and an expertise passed down with rigour.
- Terroir: Kimmeridgian soils rich in marine fossils, on the steep slopes of the Grand Cru Les Clos, where the Chardonnay draws its legendary minerality.
- Vinification: Gentle pressing, fermentation in old oak barrels and aging on fine lees to preserve the purity of the fruit and the tension of the wine.
Tasting notes for Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2013
To the eye: Pale gold robe with green highlights, of a crystalline clarity and a silky texture that already hints at its density.
On the nose: Aromas of candied lemon, hawthorn blossom and ripe quince, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of sun-warmed flint.
On the palate: Lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and saline finish where gentle spices and fresh almond intertwine.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a white Burgundy wine glass with flared sides to concentrate the aromas.
