Tasting notes for Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis 1er Cru La Forest 2024
In the eye – Robe of a pale gold with green highlights, of a silky clarity, like a gleam of limestone in the light.
On the nose – Aromas of lime and pink grapefruit, followed by a touch of acacia blossom, then a mineral depth where flint and seashell intertwine, lifted by a saline edge.
On the palate – A texture that is both taut and velvety, carried by a lively acidity that underlines the chalky minerality, before a long and saline finish of crystalline purity.
Serve at 11°C in a white Burgundy-style glass to reveal all its complexity.
Vintage 2024
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and mineral tension promises a harmonious evolution.
- Aging potential: 8 to 12 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature between 12 and 14°C, away from light).
