Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand cru Les Clos 2023
The Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2023 is born on the limestone hillsides of Les Clos. This white wine, with its notes of citrus and gunflint, captivates with its minerality and vibrant acidity. On the palate, it is taut and lingering, ideal with seafood or aged cheeses.
Domaine Vincent Dauvissat
A family estate rooted in the hillsides of Chablis, where time sculpts wines of rare precision.
- Terroir: Kimmeridgian soils, rich in marine fossils, which impart a chalky minerality and a unique saline tension to the wines.
- Vinification: Traditional method, aged in oak barrels for a pure expression of Chardonnay, without artifice.
Tasting notes for Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2023
To the eye: Pale golden robe of crystalline clarity, with silver highlights that betray its mineral tension.
On the nose: Aromas of candied citrus – bitter orange and lime – followed by notes of crisp apple, Williams pear, then a hint of flint and a subtle toasted vanilla, like a distant echo of oak.
On the palate: Silky and dense texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality that stretches into a long, saline finish of austere elegance.
Serve between 10 and 12°C, in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by early ripeness and preserved freshness, offering a perfect balance between tension and richness.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
