Tasting notes for Domaine des Tours 2020
In the glass: A deep garnet color with ruby highlights, silky texture and luminosity.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry, lifted by notes of fresh thyme, white pepper and a saline hint reminiscent of sun-drenched garrigue.
On the palate: A lively, precise opening, supported by taut acidity and chalky minerality, leads to a long, harmonious finish blending gentle spice and ripe fruit.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
2020 vintage
A vintage marked by a perfect balance between summer warmth and cool nights, producing wines with ripe fruit and an elegant structure.
- Aging potential: 8 to 10 years; store in a cool place (12–14°C) away from light.
