Tasting notes for the wine Domaine des Tours 2006 blanc
To the eye: Golden robe with amber reflections, of a silky and luminous texture, like a ray of sunshine captured in the glass.
On the nose: Aromas of acacia honey, candied citrus, dried white flowers, then a saline touch recalling Mediterranean sea spray and a mineral hint of flint.
On the palate: Lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, before a long and slightly bitter finish, where gentle spices and notes of dried fruits mingle.
Serve at 11°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to appreciate its full complexity.
