The Château Haut-Brion 2012, from the gravelly soils of Pessac-Léognan, combines complexity and finesse. This blend aged in French oak offers notes of blackcurrant, tobacco and spices. The palate, structured and mineral, will improve until 2050. Perfect with roast lamb.
Nestled in the heart of Pessac-Léognan, this historic estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 16th century, combining family tradition and innovation under the aegis of Domaines Clarence Dillon.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion Haut-Brion 2012
To the eye – A deep garnet robe with tiled reflections, dense and silky, like a mineral velvet.
On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry and fresh blackcurrant, followed by a touch of cedar, blonde tobacco and a subtle chalky note, evoking the gravels of the terroir.
On the palate – A broad and velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, with a long and taut finish where gentle spices and candied dark fruits intermingle.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
