The Château Haut-Brion 1990, a jewel of Pessac-Léognan, reveals a terroir of gravel and clay. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, aged in barrels, it offers notes of dark fruits and spices. Its dense and mineral tannic structure pairs beautifully with game or a ribeye steak.
Château Haut-Brion

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion Haut Brion 1990
To the eye: Garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a velvety density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Fresh wild blackberry and blackcurrant, evolving toward notes of black truffle, blonde tobacco and cedar, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate: Smooth and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long, spiced finish where liquorice and undergrowth intertwine.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its complexity.

A sun-drenched vintage, where the generosity of the climate gave birth to a wine of remarkable richness and harmony.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed until 2030–2035, stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
