A harmonious blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this vintage blossomed on a gravel-clay terroir in a mild climate. The 1990 vintage, marked by a generously sunny summer, gave birth to a wine of remarkable richness, hailed by a score of 96/100. Aged 22 months in new oak barrels, it offers a refined, majestic structure. On tasting, it reveals bewitching aromas of ripe black fruits, truffles, tobacco and subtle smoky notes, with a mineral touch on the finish. Its smooth mouthfeel and melted tannins prolong the experience with elegance. This great wine will seduce the most demanding connoisseurs.
