Nestled in the heart of Pessac, this historic estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 16th century, combining family tradition and innovation under the stewardship of the Dillons.
- Terroir : Graves de Pessac-Léognan, gravelly and clay-limestone soils, the mineral and elegant signature of the wines.
- Vinification : Meticulous blending, aging in oak barrels, pursuit of balance between power and finesse.

Tasting notes for Château Haut-Brion 1995
- In the eye : Deep garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of candied blackcurrant, wild blackberry and black cherry intertwine with notes of cedar, golden tobacco and black truffle, lifted by a saline and chalky touch.
- On the palate : Velvety texture and melted tannins, carried by a lively acidity and graphite minerality, with a long and elegant finish where gentle spices and dark chocolate persist.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 1995
A vintage of balance, where the ripeness of the grapes met a preserved freshness, offering a wine that is both accessible and endowed with great longevity.
- Aging potential : To be kept for another 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light.
