In the heart of Pauillac, Château Lafite Rothschild embodies the elegance of Bordeaux red wines, combining tradition and innovation. The 2012 vintage, structured and vibrant, is a true gem for wine enthusiasts. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (70–95%), with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, this wine thrives on a terroir of gravel and limestone, ensuring a unique concentration. The balanced climate of 2012 allowed for optimal grape ripeness. Hand-harvesting and plot-by-plot vinification in wooden, stainless steel, and concrete vats, followed by 18 months of aging in new oak barrels, provide an elegant structure. On the palate, it reveals aromas of cedar, dark fruits, and graphite, with a silky texture and a mineral, spicy finish. This grand cru classé is an ideal choice for a refined tasting experience or a prestigious cellar.
