- Terroir : Deep Graves and limestone subsoil of Pauillac, poor and well-drained soils that impart a distinctive minerality and refined structure to the wines.
- Vinification : Manual harvesting, parcel-by-parcel vinification in wood, stainless steel and cement vats, followed by aging in new oak barrels for a pure and precise expression of the terroir.

Tasting Notes for Château Lafite-Rothschild 2016
To the eye – A deep red robe with garnet reflections, dense and silky, heralding generous material and beautiful maturity.
On the nose – First, fresh aromas of blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by deeper notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a mineral hint of graphite, all carried by a restrained elegance.
On the palate – A velvety and taut texture, where a lively acidity, chalky-fine tannins and a saline minerality intertwine, leading to a finish of remarkable length and crystalline purity.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by ideal climatic balance, where freshness and ripeness come together to produce a wine of masterful structure and great harmony.
