The Brut Nature Starck 2018 from Louis Roederer, born in Cumières, is a zero-dosage cuvée (0 g/L) blending Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. Partly vinified in oak barrels, it seduces with its freshness, its aromas of white fruits and its saline finish. Perfect with oysters or sushi.

Tasting notes for Louis Roederer Brut Nature Starck 2018
To the eye – A pale gold robe of crystalline clarity, shot through with silver reflections that announce a silky and vibrant texture.
On the nose – An explosion of ripe white fruits (Golden apple, Williams pear), lifted by citrus zests (candied lemon, pink grapefruit), floral notes of hawthorn and acacia, then a saline touch and a hint of fresh walnut.
On the palate – The attack is frank, almost saline, carried by a lively acidity that draws a mineral tension. The substance, at once creamy and slightly tannic, stretches into a chalky and persistent finish, where the purity of the fruit dialogues with the complexity of the terroir.
Serve between 8 °C and 10 °C in a slender flute to preserve the freshness and fineness of the bubbles.
