The Château Mouton Rothschild 2008, from the gravelly soils of Pauillac, blends Cabernet Sauvignon (83%) and Merlot into a barrel-aged wine. Notes of dark fruits and spices, with a structured and mineral palate. To be cellared until 2038 to complement duck breast or porcini mushrooms.

- Vinification : A rigorous selection of berries, precise maceration and aging in oak barrels to reveal the soul of the Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting Notes for Château Mouton Rothschild 2008
To the eye – A deep red robe with garnet reflections, dense and silky, like liquid velvet.
On the nose – First aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a mineral touch reminiscent of flint.
On the palate – A generous and velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and an elegant tannic framework, with a long and saline finish where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage where climatic rigor forged a wine that is both powerful and refined, revealing the full mastery of the Pauillac terroir.
