Cuvée Marlène N°3 2004 from Domaine Peyre Rose comes from the clay-limestone soils of Côteaux du Languedoc and blends Syrah with Grenache Noir. Aged in concrete vats, this red wine reveals garrigue and dark fruit aromas, a silky palate and a mineral finish. Decant for an hour and pair with red meat. Enjoy without delay.
Nestled in the heart of Côteaux du Languedoc, this family estate embodies a commitment to viticulture that respects the terroir, guided by Marlène Soria’s passion since 1988.
- Terroir: Stony clay-limestone soils at elevations of 220–300 meters, where Syrah and Grenache Noir draw their minerality and tension.
- Winemaking: Long aging in concrete vats and large oak casks, without artifice, produces wines of Mediterranean purity and rare depth.

Appearance – dense, luminous garnet with plum highlights, revealing silky concentration and graceful development.
On the nose – fresh garrigue mingles with red and dark fruit (blackcurrant, black raspberry), while notes of damp undergrowth, leather and eucalyptus add saline, smoky depth.
On the palate – a velvety texture supported by lively acidity and chalky minerality, with integrated tannins shaping a long, slightly bitter finish characteristic of Mediterranean balance.
Serve between 15 and 17°C in a Burgundy-style red wine glass to release its full complexity.
