Tasting notes for Thomas Batardière Esprit Libre 2020
- In the glass : A pale, luminous golden color and silky texture that already hint at a generous, precise palate.
- On the nose : Aromas of crisp yellow apple, Williams pear, and acacia blossom unfold, accompanied by a saline touch and chalky minerality evocative of Anjou’s soils.
- On the palate : A lively, focused opening, where fresh fruit meets elegant acidity, followed by a long, saline finish of crystalline purity.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
2020 vintage
A vintage marked by beautifully ripe grapes, offering a perfect balance of freshness and depth, typical of great Loire wines.
- Aging potential : Store for up to 5 years under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
