The Dujac Fils & Père Chambolle-Musigny 2016, born from the limestone soils of the appellation, reveals an elegant Pinot Noir. Aged in barrels, it marries cherry, violet and spices with a chalky minerality. Its silky, precise palate pairs beautifully with game and cheese. To be enjoyed until 2028.
Born from the alliance between family tradition and the demands of Burgundian terroirs, this estate embodies the Dujac spirit through accessible cuvées, without ever compromising on the signature of Pinot Noir.
- Terroir : The vines are rooted in the limestone and marl soils of Chambolle-Musigny, where Pinot Noir reveals a mineral elegance and an aromatic finesse characteristic of the Côte de Nuits.
- Vinification : Aged in oak barrels, respecting natural cycles and seeking a pure expression of the fruit – an approach where precision meets restraint.
Tasting Notes for Dujac Fils & Père Chambolle-Musigny 2016
- Appearance : A ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density, like liquid velvet catching the light with a discreet intensity.
- On the Nose : First notes of fresh morello cherry and wild raspberry, followed by a hint of violet and damp undergrowth, before a touch of graphite anchors the whole in a chalky minerality.
- On the Palate : A satiny texture, carried by a lively acidity and a saline tension, weaving together black cherry, gentle spices and a touch of liquorice, for a long, precise finish marked by a taut elegance.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release the full aromatic complexity.
