Sourced from the limestone soils of Charmes-Chambertin, the Dujac Grand Cru 2022 is a Pinot Noir aged in new oak barrels. Its aromas of black cherries and spices precede a silky, mineral palate. Ideal for drinking now or cellaring until 2035, it pairs beautifully with game and aged cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis since 1968, this family estate embodies Burgundian excellence, combining tradition and organic innovation.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, cradle of the Grands Crus, where Pinot Noir reveals its minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Whole-cluster fermentation, aging in new oak barrels, and respect for indigenous yeasts for a pure expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Dujac Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2022
In the glass: Deep garnet red robe with dense reflections, silky and luminous in texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and ripe blackberry intertwine with notes of fresh violet, candied orange peel, and a saline touch reminiscent of damp undergrowth.
On the palate: A velvety attack, fine and tightly woven tannins, lively acidity carrying a chalky minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish marked by gentle spices.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to unlock its complex aromas.
Vintage 2022
A generous vintage, where the summer heat concentrated the fruit while preserving a beautiful freshness, the signature of great Burgundy wines.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool (12–14°C) and humid cellar, away from vibrations.
