From the Morgeots, this Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 2022 red from Domaine Ramonet is an exceptional Pinot Noir. Its aromas of cherry, spices and minerality, drawn from barrel aging, precede a silky and taut palate. Perfect from 2028 onwards with roast pheasant or aged cheeses.
A Burgundian institution for three generations, Domaine Ramonet embodies the rare alliance between family tradition and viticultural precision at the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Beaune, where the Premiers Crus reveal a chalky minerality and structured elegance.
- Winemaking : Respect for old vines, hand harvesting and barrel aging for red wines of silky tension and earthy purity.

- To the eye : Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance that heralds its concentration.
- On the nose : Aromas of ripe morello cherry, fresh violet and soft liquorice, lifted by a hint of damp undergrowth and a saline touch characteristic of Chassagne's soils.
- On the palate : Velvety yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality that extends into a long, precise finish, where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full aromatic complexity.
