Vinified in oak barrels, it captivates with its notes of citrus and flint, and a silky texture. Perfect for 50 years of cellaring, it pairs beautifully with lobster or scallops.
Domaine Ramonet
A cornerstone of Chassagne-Montrachet since the 1920s, this family estate cultivates a heritage of precision and respect for the Burgundian terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the hillsides of Chassagne-Montrachet, where old-vine Chardonnay draws a chalky minerality and characteristic tension.
- Winemaking: Aging in oak barrels (up to 70% new wood), with controlled yields to preserve the purity and elegance of the great whites.

Tasting notes for Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Ruchottes 2021
To the eye: Golden robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity and promising density.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers and candied citrus, followed by notes of toasted hazelnut and flint, with a saline touch in the background.
On the palate: Luscious yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and precise finish.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and mineral tension expresses itself with rare elegance.
- Aging potential: More than 50 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
