From the limestone hillsides of Chassagne-Montrachet, the Clos de la Boudriotte 2019 red Magnum from Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is a Pinot Noir with aromas of black cherry and spices. Its palate, at once taut and silky, promises a long aging. Food pairings: game, lamb or aged cheeses.
Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet
Nestled at the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for nearly a century, perpetuating a legacy of precision and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Beaune, where the Premiers Crus reveal a chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: Aging in oak barrels, with both a traditional and meticulous approach, for wines of remarkable tension and purity.

- To the eye: Robe of a deep red with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture, announcing a dense and velvety substance.
- On the nose: Aromas of ripe black cherry and fresh violet, followed by liquorice and undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a chalky minerality characteristic of the terroir.
- On the palate: A generous yet precise attack, carried by fine tannins and a lively acidity, while a long and saline finish leaves an impression of depth and balance.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to bring out all its nuances.
