A family estate rooted in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, where exacting standards and tradition shape wines of rare elegance.
- Terroir: Limestone and stony soils of the Côte de Beaune, the cradle of great Chardonnays, where each plot expresses a unique minerality.
- Vinification: Precise and respectful winemaking, combining fermentation in oak barrels and patient aging to reveal the purity of the fruit and the complexity of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Ruchottes 2018
To the eye – Golden robe with green highlights, of silky clarity and promising density.
On the nose – Aromas of white flowers and ripe yellow fruits (greengage, apricot), lifted by notes of candied citrus and a saline touch, like a sea breeze over warm stones.
On the palate – Smooth and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long, fresh finish where lemongrass and basil intertwine.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by generous ripeness, balanced by remarkable freshness, ideal for wines meant for aging.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
