Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Boudriotte 2023 Red
The Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Boudriotte 2023 rouge by Jean-Claude Ramonet reveals the clay-limestone soils of Burgundy. This Pinot Noir, with aromas of red berries and spices, is aged in barrels. Fresh and mineral on the palate, it pairs with game and ages with elegance.
Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet
Nestled at the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for generations, combining tradition and precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Beaune, the birthplace of great Pinot Noir, where each plot reveals a chalky minerality and a natural elegance.
- Winemaking: Fruit-respectful methods, barrel aging for a pure expression and a silky structure, without artifice.
Tasting notes for Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Boudriotte 2023
On the eye: A brilliant ruby robe of crystalline clarity, where light dances with an almost silky texture.
On the nose: A fresh and precise bouquet, where tangy red berries, ripe cherry, a touch of damp undergrowth and a subtle saline note mingle, recalling the limestone soils of the terroir.
On the palate: A lively and taut attack, carried by fine tannins and a chalky minerality, which stretches into a long and refreshing finish, where the elegance of the Pinot Noir lingers.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full purity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by balance, where freshness and ripeness meet to offer wines of great precision.
- Aging potential: 8 to 12 years, to be kept in optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
