The Ramonet Bâtard-Montrachet 2021, Grand Cru from Bourgogne, is born from the clay-limestone soils of its appellation. This barrel-aged Chardonnay offers aromas of white flowers and citrus, a chalky minerality and a silky palate. Best enjoyed with lobster or cheeses after 5 to 10 years of aging.
Domaine Ramonet
A family estate rooted at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, where exacting standards and tradition craft wines of rare elegance.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Grand Crus of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, where Chardonnay expresses its full minerality and complexity.
- Vinification: Fruit-focused methods, aging in oak barrels for a harmony between purity and depth.
Tasting notes for Domaine Ramonet Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2021
To the eye: Golden robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers and candied citrus, followed by notes of roasted hazelnut and flint, with a saline touch woven throughout.
On the palate: Unctuous and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, for a long and precise finish marked by accents of honey and fresh almond.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal all its complexity.
Vintage 2021
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and tension gives rise to wines of great precision.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
