Chapuis & Chapuis estate wines: purchase at the best price
The Chapuis brothers, Romain and Jean-Guillaume, originally from Aloxe Corton, decided to launch a négociant activity and created their eponymous estate in 2009 in a small winery located in Pommard, in order to vinify generous and approachable wines, allowing the 2 king grape varieties in Burgundy, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to express all their aromas. Not having their own vineyard holdings, and Burgundy being among the most expensive wine regions in France, the Chapuis brothers set out in search of passionate winegrowers in the Côte de Beaune or Côtes de Nuits, in order to enter into grape purchase contracts with them, requiring very high quality fruit which, where possible, must be organically certified. Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis meticulously select their sources according to their own well-defined criteria: soil, exposure, age, variety, health status… every detail is carefully observed.
