Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand cru Les Preuses 2023
The Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2023 from Domaine Vincent Dauvissat draws from the Kimmeridgian soils of Chablis a chalky minerality and a unique tension. Nose of citrus, white blossom, iodine and flint; lively, silky palate with a saline finish. A wine for ageing, ideal with oysters or grilled lobster.
Domaine Vincent Dauvissat
A family estate rooted in the heart of Chablis, where time sculpts wines of rare purity.
- Terroir: the limestone hillsides of the Chablis Grand Cru appellation, where Kimmeridgian soils impart a chalky minerality to the wines.
- Vinification: traditional methods, combining patience and precision, to reveal the most faithful expression of Chardonnay.
Tasting notes for Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2023
To the eye: a pale golden robe of silky clarity, like a reflection of light on the limestone hillsides.
On the nose: notes of hawthorn blossom and lime unfold, followed by a hint of candied orange peel, then a saline breeze and warm flint.
On the palate: a texture that is both taut and velvety, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long, saline finish of precise elegance.
Serving temperature: 10–12°C – Burgundy white wine glass to enhance its complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and mineral tension is expressed with rare harmony.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
