Tasting notes for Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2002
To the eye: Golden robe with pale highlights, of silky clarity, betraying a balanced maturity and a crystalline structure.
On the nose: Aromas of candied lemon, pink grapefruit, then white flowers and orange zest, followed by a saline touch reminiscent of sea spray and flint.
On the palate: Dense and vibrant texture, carried by a taut acidity and chalky minerality, with a long and luminous finish where citrus and iodine notes intertwine.
Serve between 10 and 12°C, in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2002
A vintage marked by slow ripening and preserved freshness, yielding wines of remarkable concentration and great tension.
- Aging potential: Drink until 2035, provided storage in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
