Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand cru Les Preuses 2018
The Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2018 from Domaine Vincent Dauvissat, crafted from biodynamically grown Chardonnay, captivates with its vibrant minerality and notes of citrus and iodine. Its lively, saline palate pairs beautifully from 2026 with seafood or refined dishes.
Domaine Vincent Dauvissat
A family estate rooted in the Kimmeridgian marls of Chablis, where tradition meets biodynamic viticulture since the 1990s.
- Terroir: 12 hectares of vines planted on calcareous and clay soils, the cradle of the appellation's Grand Crus, shaping wines of distinctive minerality.
- Winemaking: Fruit-respectful methods, barrel aging for a pure expression and elegant tension, without artifice.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2018
To the eye – A pale golden robe with green highlights, of crystalline clarity, revealing a silky texture and promising density.
On the nose – Aromas of fresh lime and white peach intertwine with notes of hawthorn blossoms, before giving way to a saline and iodine touch, the signature of great Kimmeridgian terroirs.
On the palate – A lively and precise attack, driven by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long, saline finish where candied citrus and flint intermingle.
Serve between 10 and 12°C, in a white Burgundy wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2018
A generous vintage, marked by optimal grape ripeness, offering an ample texture while preserving the characteristic freshness of Chablis Grand Crus.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed from 2026, with a peak expected between 2030 and 2040, provided it is stored under ideal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
